Where Play and Learning Come Together

 My name is Krissy and I am the owner and lead teacher here at The Art of Play Early Learning Center for over 12 years. I am a licensed Nursery and Kindergarten teacher through the PA Department of Education with over 20 years experience teaching children birth to age 5. I have a passion for all aspects of early childhood, and have also served local families as a Special Instructor/ Behavior Therapist for Early Intervention. One of my therapeutic skills is being a Newborn/ Infant Massage Instructor certified through Infant Massage WINC, World Institute for Nurturing Communication. I am able to help parents strengthen the bonding experience with their young children while focusing on the emotional and developmental needs of the children in my care. I do this by also having empathy for the needs that parents face. As a mom myself I can relate to the struggles and challenges parenthood comes with and hope to focus on the joyous parts of parenthood with families enrolled in my program. I bring my knowledge and skills regarding child development into every aspect of your child's day. I strive to make every moment at the Art of Play a high quality one where children are respected, parents are supported, and play is valued.
